Letting yourself shine and glow makes for the perfect self love boudoir day! If you prefer a more “natural” feel, eat a nutritious breakfast, take a relaxing bath or shower with salts, and lather yourself up in your favorite lotion or perfume. Go get your makeup, hair, and nails done to really treat yourself. Making a whole self care day for your shoot day is always so much fun. Find what feels like you, and what your body feels best in and your shoot will come with so much comfortability! I always tell my clients that as long as you feel confident and sexy in what you’re wearing, then that’s boudoir. ![]() Physically, planning boudoir can be super fun! I compare boudoir to yoga, so I always recommend a fun yoga/workout during the week before to get your limbs moving and stretched out! ( know finding the perfect lingerie could be nerve wracking especially if you don’t wear it often. We will always listen to your beautiful stories of how you got to see us today and we encourage all feelings and emotions. Here at Three Boudoir we always understand how vulnerable and emotional boudoir can be. Just know we are a group of women who hear, understand, and have so much love for you.īoudoir is about healing, being gentle with yourself, and letting all feelings and emotions be welcome and present. Maybe you’ve experienced a divorce, abuse, or sexual harassment and boudoir can feel extremely scary. Letting go of any apprehensions and fears creates a safe space for those positive thoughts and feelings towards yourself. Then, write down any fears you have before your session, crumple the paper up, and dispose of it as you wish while taking a deep breath. Write down as many positives about yourself, your body, and what you expect to come out of this session. I encourage you to find your “Why?” for booking this boudoir session. You deserve to be here, you are powerful, you are strong, you are worthy of letting yourself fill your mind with positive and living thoughts about yourself.Įmotionally, boudoir comes with a lot of feelings that you may not discover until you see your photos.
